ASIAPAC – Continued tropical cyclone disruptions impacting China and wider Asia services to the South Pacific

Dear Valued Customers,
In recent months, China has been impacted by five tropical cyclones (Maysak, Bavi, Noul, Dolphin, and Saudel) which have contributed to the periodic closure of key ports and significant schedule delays across Asia.
Due to the above, our partner service carrier has confirmed the below port omissions for upcoming schedules in September:
- OOCL Busan 0707S is omitting Shanghai & Kaohsiung.
- SC Montreux 0478S is omitting Ningbo.
- Kota Lestari 0286S is omitting Shanghai.
This will further add to the backlog of cargo and capacity constraints of which we advised on 24 July, and any new ASIAPAC bookings will be assigned to the earliest vessel voyage, subject to space availability.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation and update our schedules as we receive the latest information.
